INSTRUCTOR INCENTIVES & CREDIT PROGRAM

  • Credits are cash and are applied by staff as account credits in our membership system.

  • Credit award minimum - You are not awarded credits for any event until you work a minimum of 7 events annually:

  • Credits can be used for any registration item.

    • League

    • Membership

    • Bonspiels

  • Weekday Credit - $20 per event

  • Primetime - $40 per event

  • All volunteers are placed in an annual Jan. 1st drawing for a perk of a future National or International Curling Event Ticket Package for Two (Package TBD based on availability and COVID policies)

COVID-19 INSTRUCTION  POLICIES

  • General

    • All waivers must be electronically signed prior to the event

    • Attendees must leave all shoes, coats, and personal items in the Curler's Lounge while playing. The Lounge will be locked during this time. (SUSPENDED DUE TO COVID)

  • Off-Ice instruction (SUSPENDED DUE TO COVID)

    • Masks/Face Coverings are strictly required for all participants at all times. (Face Coverings must be worn correctly to cover both the mouth and nose).

    • Encourage 6ft social distancing during instruction and at all times.

    • We will continue to use the Curler's Lounge for off-ice instruction. However, the entire room (no divider) will be used for all groups to allow for limiting group size and account for Social Distancing and Stay Safe MN mandate for restaurants  (Maximum 52 people - 10 per table).

  • On-Ice Instruction

    • Masks/Face Coverings are strictly required for all participants at all times. (Face Coverings must be worn correctly to cover both the mouth and nose).

    • Encourage 6ft social distancing during instruction and at all times.

    • Groups will be limited to a strict maximum of 48 attendees.

    • There is a strict limit to 8 people and one instructor per sheet of ice.

    • Sweeping will be taught in groups no larger than 4 people with 6 ft between sweepers

    • Only one sweeper per shot once games begin

    • Club brooms and stabilizers will be sanitized and brought to the ice prior to the event.

    • Stabilizers should be shared only between one team (four people) for the event. They will be marked yellow or red and should correspond to stone color.

    • Each player should be assigned two stones and use and touch ONLY those two stones during the event.

    • Instructors should sanitize stones after the event is finished.

    • Staff will sanitize club brooms and stabilizers after the event is finished.
